My name is Ismene Martinez, and I am proud to serve as an Independent Living Skills (ILS) Service Coordinator for Winners and Dreamers under My Special Connection, supporting adults with special talents in building independence, confidence, and community involvement. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and have training in Special Education, Neuropsychology, and Clinical Psychology with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach. My experience in special education, Supported Living Services, and Independent Living Skills has strengthened my skills in person-centered planning, advocacy, goal development, and practical life skills. As a coordinator, I create individualized service plans, monitor progress, support staff, and adjust strategies to help each individual achieve meaningful goals. Outside of work, I am a devoted mother of two daughters and enjoy spending time with my family, exploring nature, listening to music, reading, and watching TV series with my husband.
