Participants from My Special Connection recently enjoyed a community outing to The Bay Model, operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District.

The visit provided participants with an opportunity to explore and learn more about the San Francisco Bay and its surrounding environment. Through community-based experiences like this, participants can discover new places, practice social and community skills, and expand their knowledge in an engaging setting.

The outing was also a great opportunity to spend time together, experience something different, and continue building confidence while navigating the community.
