A Commitment That Began in November
When registration for Night to Shine opened in November, we were ready. From the very first day, we secured our spot for what would become our third consecutive year participating in this international event.
Night to Shine, an initiative of the Tim Tebow Foundation, is a prom-style experience designed for individuals age 16 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event brings together thousands of volunteers committed to creating a night centered on dignity, inclusion, and celebration.

Preparation and Coordination
This year, our group included nearly 50 attendees, including consumers, team members, and family members. Planning began weeks in advance and involved coordination with families, transportation logistics, schedule confirmations, and individualized support to ensure each participant could attend safely and comfortably.

For the first time, we rented a bus so we could travel together as one group. The meeting point, the photos before departure, and the shared ride set the tone for the evening. The experience began long before we arrived at the venue, strengthening the sense of community among everyone attending.
The Experience
Upon arrival, our participants were welcomed as honored guests. The red carpet, assigned volunteer βbuddies,β dinner, music, and dance floor were all part of a thoughtfully organized program designed to allow each individual to participate at their own pace.
The event also included a Respite Room, offering parents and caregivers a peaceful space to rest while their loved ones enjoyed the celebration accompanied by volunteers and staff.
Throughout the evening, our team remained present, supporting, coordinating, and ensuring that every detail was covered from departure to return.
An Open Invitation to the Community
Night to Shine is not an event we organize; it is an initiative open to the entire community. We encourage anyone with the opportunity to participate in future editions, whether as a guest or a volunteer, to do so. It is an experience that allows you to witness firsthand the impact of inclusion when it is built through community.
Below, we are sharing the link to local media coverage. We invite you to watch the news segment, as some of our participants are featured in the report and are part of this beautiful celebration.
After three consecutive years, Night to Shine has become one of the most meaningful events on our annual calendar, not only because of the scale of the organization, but because of what it represents for those who look forward to this night for months. And as long as we continue to see that excitement grow each year, we know we will be there again.
